The Nissan Pao was only ever manufactured in Japan, and with only around 10,000 models produced they are rare even there. Imports to other parts of the world are rare but there are specialists, collectors and aficionados that manage the process. Expect to pay up to £4500 for a good quality model, down to £3000 for a less well maintained or presented example.

As with any used car, you should check the car thoroughly before purchasing. While it can be disheartening to search for months in vain for a good model this should not lead to impulse purchases when a sub-standard example is offered. It is important to note that any car you buy in outside Japan will be imported may require modifications to bring it in line with local laws and regulations. Again, there are companies that specialise in the conversion process and entrusting them with the job may be the quickest and easiest way to obtaining your dream Pao.
